I am a visual artist and teacher. My freelance work focuses on illustrating stories using sculpture, puppetry, collage, and mixed media drawing and painting. As a guest lecturer I teach about “Creating Action” through art to encourage community and public participation as a means of bringing about social change. My workshops explore the sketchbook as an indispensable tool across the disciplines of art, theater, craft and design.

The past 10 years my creative work has been informed by studies crossing different disciplines and ideas that range from social issues to ecological imbalances. My work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States.

I graduated from the Passalacqua School of Drawing and Illustration, I received my undergraduate from Parsons School of Design and currently a member of the Dalvero Academy. I returned to school in 2014 and received my MFA-IA, Goddard College, Spring 2016. That has been the best experience of my life!

Art offers an abundance of opportunities to teach history.
